Our Labor & Employment Practice
Our Labor & Employment Practice supports clients in addressing critical litigation and business consulting challenges. We focus on issues such as wage and hour compliance, employee misclassification, pay equity, and discrimination claims involving hiring, promotions, and terminations. Our work spans all phases of litigation, including exposure modeling, expert report preparation, deposition support, rebuttal analysis, and trial testimony.
Additionally, we offer consulting services in pay equity analysis, workforce analytics, and compliance evaluations. Clients rely on our innovative approaches to transform raw data into reliable, actionable intelligence for decision-making.
Job Description
The Manager role at Libra Analytics is pivotal, requiring expertise in both technical and strategic aspects of data analytics. As a Manager, you will oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, accurately, and within scope. This position involves programming, client interaction, and mentoring junior staff, offering a dynamic blend of technical and managerial responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review legal documents and determine data requirements for addressing claims or business challenges.
- Design and execute advanced quantitative methodologies to analyze claims and develop strategic insights.
- Program using SAS, Python or R for advanced data processing and analysis.
- Develop dynamic models and dashboards in Excel and Tableau to present findings to clients.
- Evaluate and clean large datasets to ensure completeness and reliability.
- Prepare polished client-ready reports, exhibits, and presentations.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, interpreting their needs and providing timely updates.
- Lead and mentor junior analysts, ensuring their growth and the quality of their work.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to anticipate project needs and address data or methodological challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or litigation support (prior experience in labor and employment analytics preferred).
- Advanced programming skills in data analysis software, such as SAS, Python, R, or SQL; familiarity with Tableau is a plus.
- High proficiency in Excel, including dynamic modeling and graphical capabilities.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts, economic modeling, and data visualization techniques.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders.
