Our Labor & Employment Practice
Our Labor & Employment Practice supports clients in addressing critical litigation and business consulting challenges. We focus on issues such as wage and hour compliance, employee misclassification, pay equity, and discrimination claims involving hiring, promotions, and terminations. Our work spans all phases of litigation, including exposure modeling, expert report preparation, deposition support, rebuttal analysis, and trial testimony.
Additionally, we offer consulting services in pay equity analysis, workforce analytics, and compliance evaluations. Clients rely on our innovative approaches to transform raw data into reliable, actionable intelligence for decision-making.
Job Description
The Senior Data Analyst role at Libra Analytics is instrumental, combining advanced data analytics with strategic problem-solving. In this role, you will handle complex data challenges, guide junior team members, and contribute to the firm’s growth by ensuring the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate legal documents and client needs to design and implement advanced analytical methods.
- Process and analyze large datasets using tools like SAS, Python, R, or SQL.
- Develop exposure models and dashboards in Excel and Tableau to present actionable insights.
- Ensure data completeness, reliability, and reproducibility in all analyses.
- Prepare polished, client-ready reports, exhibits, and presentations.
- Serve as a key contact for clients, providing updates and interpreting their needs.
- Mentor junior staff, providing feedback to foster their growth and maintain quality.
- Collaborate with leadership to anticipate project needs and address challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or litigation support (experience in labor and employment analytics is preferred).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, Python, R, or SQL; familiarity with Tableau is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills, including dynamic modeling and visualization.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts, economic modeling, and data visualization techniques.
- Great attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions.
