Libra Analytics Welcomes Dr. Alfonso Berumen as Academic Affiliate, Strengthening its Business Data Analytics Services
Libra Analytics is excited to announce that Dr. Alfonso Berumen, Practitioner Faculty of Decision Sciences at the Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University, has joined the company as an Academic Affiliate. With over 15 years of experience in data analytics, forensic data studies, and advanced statistical methods, Dr. Berumen's expertise will significantly enhance Libra Analytics' capacity to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions to clients.
Dr. Berumen has a distinguished career providing analytical and statistical support to law firms, Fortune 500 companies, and government agencies, using advanced tools such as SAS, R, Python, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI. His background in building analytical databases, managing complex data analysis projects, and providing expert testimony in deposition settings makes him a key asset to Libra Analytics. More recently he has worked with organizations on projects that have included predicting customer churn based on customer characteristics and activity, administering a client satisfaction survey and analysis of survey responses, and creating a data pipeline and BI summaries for a venture capital firm so that management can monitor portfolio company performance.

In addition to his consulting experience, Dr. Berumen plays a pivotal role at Pepperdine University, where he teaches advanced data analytics, including the fourth and highest-level course in quantitative analysis in the doctoral program and the MS in Business Analytics Capstone/Consulting course, and serves on key program committees. His academic background includes a Doctorate in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, a Master of Science in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University, an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor's in Economics from Occidental College.
