Mr. Babick brings extensive experience in economic consulting and data analysis across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, transportation, logistics, call centers, manufacturing, retail, entertainment, and government. He specializes in analyzing complex structured and unstructured databases, and is adept at developing innovative techniques for data discovery and capturing new data sources. Additionally, Mr. Babick excels in creating sophisticated data-driven solutions to support strategic business decisions.
Before co-founding Libra Analytics, Mr. Babick spent over 18 years at a national economic and statistical consulting firm, where he provided expert economic consulting services. He holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California, as well as an M.S. in Data Science from Northwestern University.
Mr. Babick also has substantial experience in class-action and individual plaintiff wage and hour cases, offering litigation support and consulting across various sectors. His expertise includes statistical and economic analysis on issues such as employee classification, independent contractor status, off-the-clock work, unpaid overtime, meal and rest breaks, improper pay calculations, and other wage and hour concerns at both federal and state levels. He has also supported legal teams during mediation.
In addition, Mr. Babick has managed numerous cases involving employment and various forms of discrimination, covering class action, multi-plaintiff, and individual claims related to hiring, promotions, initial placement, terminations, disciplinary actions, and compensation.
